Museum Day 2014

The Art-Memorial museum of I.E. Repin in its professional holiday called International Museum Day invite everyone to visit the museum.  On the eve of the holiday our young volunteers from the Centre for Tourism and Local History passed out special flyers. They can be printed also from all museum pages and cut out of the newspaper "News of Chuguev". Of course, museum doors were open to visitors even without a special flyer. If you bring a flyer and left it with your contact information in the museum worker you automatically take part in the prize drawing. The drawing will take place at one of the upcoming events.

Everyone could visit for free all museum departments. However, on this day, we decided to focus on the Local lore museum. In the department you will acquaint with a new exhibition "From ancient settlement to fort" dedicated to the origins of the glorious history of Chuguev. A special feature of the exhibition is that anyone can try themselves as an archaeologist and make their own excavations or play the old game "Kreymah". Also everyone could create own case with the horse harness and weapons of the VIII-X centuries.
