Project "Hello, we are your museum!" at the start

Soon Art-memorial museum of I.E. Repin launched the project "Hello, we are your museum!". This project is a result of a training seminar "Creation and promotion of quality museum product: practical experience and trainer's skills" in the framework of the program «ProMuseum» by Ukrainian Center for Museum Development and will be held with the support of the International Fund "Revival" and the International Charitable Fund "Ukraine 3000".

Museum of I.E. Repin has already the experience of interactive museum classes in Chuguev schools. But pupils from Chuguev district for several reasons visit museum very rarely, the majority of them did not come. That is why the project is aimed to familiarize pupils and teachers in rural schools with museum, in particular, to demonstrate new interactive methods of work in the museum. It is expected that museum workers conduct classes for different age groups of pupils in schools. It is planned to conduct the following classes: "The most ancient region history", "Golden Khokhloma", "How are you, Samovar Samovarovich?", master-classes on painting "Sprouts of art" and folk art "Ritual dolls: motanki (rag dolls) and vesnyanki".

We hope that the implementation of the program will invite pupils and teachers attention to the museum.
We want to show children that museum is an interesting place for spending their time.
