Collection of phonorecords

The museum contains a large number of records issued in 30-50s of the 20^th century.
The museum records are issued by the All-Union firm "Melody". They all have the same emblem: a schematic letter "M" on the soundtrack, asymmetrical star at the top. All-Union State Standards (GOST) which have approved every few years help us to determine the period of records manufacture. State Standards were approved in 1950, 1956, 1961, 1968, 1973, 1980, 1988.

The museum's collection has only one record made by limited liability company "Gramofon" in Riga, at the plant "Writing Cupid" in the early 20^th century. In general, the collection of records consists of 118 objects.
