Collection of samovars

Collection of samovars is quite small, it consists of 20 items. The main part of the collection consists of samovars made in the late XIX - early XX centuries. These products made of brass or brass with nickel-plating.

Samovars from collection of Art-Memorial Museum of I.E. Repin are mass-produced. Among them there are no exclusive samples made from silver, red brass or other precious metals. These are things that existed in the urban middle-class circles: bourgeois, bureaucrats, different ranks of the intelligentsia. Almost all of the items were donated by residents of Chuguev.
